Sculptures & Wire Art
I'm an electrician by day and an artist by night. Or an artist at heart I should say, Every once in a while I like to save a small piece of wire from a special job and I will use that short piece of wire to create something special some sort of statue or figurine or protection sigil. One of my favourite things to create is this scorpion sculpture. It's super simple to make and it's one of my best sellers on Etsy. But I make other sculptures as well such as octopus, face hugger from alien, birds, dragonflies, necklaces, Pendants, I love creating sculptures and statues with wire and if you have any suggestions or ideas for cool future designs please contact me and share your design ideas with me.I would love to create something new for the world to see. Lighthouse scorpion
Like I mentioned above I'd like to save a special piece of wire every once in a while. My latest special piece of wire comes from a lighthouse that we decommissioned. This lighthouse stood for over 30 years downtown Lakeshore on the pier, it has seen lots of renovations over the years But its best days we're behind it and it was time to upgrade and replace the lighthouse.
My job was to remove all of the electrical equipment from the lighthouse so it could be demolished and a new one could bedemolished and a new one could be resurrected in its spot.
I was able to save a small piece of wire that ran from the splitter to the panel from that small piece of wire I was able to make eight scorpion.
So not only are the scorpions symbols of protection for some, now 8 of them are actually made from wire that powered a lighthouse that kept people safe and in some cases brought them home safely.
Baseball diamond scorpion
Last summer we got an emergency call to a baseball diamond. The lights in the outfield weren’t working so after a little investigation we found that the wires were burned up underground and they needed to be replaced. I kept a small piece of that wire and I was able to make three small four-legged scorpions for you, The people.
Something new
We're trying something new. Glow in the dark scorpion sculptures. Comment on instagram, let me know what you think of this idea. I'd like to add it to the shop if people are interested in it.

New project
This weekend I made something new. I tried to make my famous wire sculpture face huggers as small as I possibly could and now I have two medium size face hugger sculptures for sale and these things look so cool I hope you like them as much as I do I'm gonna keep trying to make them smaller and smaller
